Riding: A MINI CLUBMAN
Come on, who really needs a reason to get away for the weekend? Not me! All I need is a destination, a sense of adventure and possibly a nice ride to make things just a little more exciting on the road. This time I took a new MINI Clubman and drove all the way up north to Shavei Zion, a small beach town just a few minutes away from Akko.
The Nea Hotel, to my surprise reminded me a lot of Malibu, maybe it’s the beachy Californian vibe or perhaps the cool mix of ocean inspired & wood elements in the design had something to do with it.
The Nea is already the perfect getaway and by the time summer comes along the spa and pool will be open and the guests will be able to enjoy some water sport activities, which will make this hotel to the wholesome chill zone. Can’t wait for that!
One of the advantages of staying at the Nea is the restaurant of the hotel, what can be more relaxing than taking a quick elevator ride back to bed after dining fine food downstairs, call me lazy but having an indoor-built-in restaurant is a huge plus in any hotel.
To conclude the Nea Hotel is well worth the long drive, if it’s for the cool and super helpful staff (who all by the way are wearing a double denim uniform, yes!) if it’s for the romantic walk on the beach or for the mouthwatering traditional yet modern Israeli food. The entire stay was one peaceful experience and I am dreaming to go back in the summer.
