Winter, the perfect time for staying in, wrapping yourself in a cosy blanket, enjoy a hot bubble bath and a sip of hot coco. Now, If all these sound like the perfect winter activities imagine how much more fun it is to do them in an indulging new boutique hotel. Going on a trip wasn’t an option this month so I am taking a little break right here, 15 minute walk from my own home, vacation in my own town or as I like to call it “Stay-cation”.

The 65 Hotel on Rothschild Boulevard was in the making for a while, the round intriguing building got me curios each time I passed by, I was looking forward to see the new hotel in such a prime location of Tel Aviv, now I can say I wasn’t disappointed.

Hotel 65 has all you can want from a city boutique hotel, a modern design with a tropical feel (for palm tree lovers like myself) a twist of retro chic in the decor, central location, great views of the city and of course (we are in Israel after all!) fantastic choice of delicious food.

The design here plays an important role, the hotel is round which makes it more fun and playful, the service I must say is super productive and friendly, I even managed to get extra blankets and a personal radiator as it was the coldest night of the year (brrrr) my personal favorite thing is the banana tree wallpaper in the lobby, that brought me warm memories from my beloved Beverly Hills Hotel.

The food! Oh yeah! The hotel offers a a wide range of healthy breakfast choices only Israelis can deliver! Foodie Roza is beyond content. You don’t have to stay for the night in the hotel in order to enjoy breakfast, you can pop in and enjoy the buffet.

As Tel Aviv is becoming an even hotter tourist destination the choice of hotels is growing and the standards are rising high. Hotel 65 definitely delivered on every level, and it’s another fashionable adventure to remember! I’ll be back, if not for the breakfast so at least for my favorite wallpaper!
