Only a two hour drive from Tel Aviv will bring you to one of the most magical places in Israel, Maskit Villa. This little piece of heaven is located in Liman village somewhere between Akko and Naharya in the North of Israel, a small town of which I never heard before coming here. Maskit is not your average hotel it’s a combination of a private resort and a family home, it has the feeling that you came to visit friends or relatives who are living their dream in the country side, with their own pool and a horse stable. Sarit Maskit and her husband who are the proud owners of this resort will indeed be your relatives for the duration of your stay as they give such personal attendance to each guest. Maskit contains only four suites which makes it even more exclusive than you think, so coming here with your family or a bunch of friends is beyond ideal if you happen to be a bit of a snob like yours truly. (Yes, its bachelorette party heaven!). Each room is specious enough to have 2-4 people, the design is modern very elegant the rooms have many custom made details, and the atmosphere all around is of a sophisticated grown up holiday.

Between getting a tan, enjoying a massage or floating in the pool you can also visit the two horses in the local stables, (they are a little wild so no riding!) you can also indulge with an outdoor shower which is always a fun naughty activity.

The breakfast here is one of the most impressive meals I had in any hotel, the attention to detail in every single dish is admirable as many of the ingredients are grown in the villa’s garden, somewhere between the pool and your room.

In the evening you can also stroll in the village and find your way to Michael Bistro, a surprising restaurant with a twist of south of France.

To conclude Sarit really takes holidaying to another level and Maskit Villa is by far one of the best stays I had.
